URGENT APPEALE: massive human rights abuses in Iranian Baluchistan.

On the eve of the so-called Presidential election in the Islamic Republic of Iran on June 12, the country is plagued by ethnic, political and religious unrest as well as massive human rights abuses in Iranian Baluchistan, the homeland of the Sunni-dominated Baluch ethnic group in the southeastern corner bordering Pakistan and Afghanistan.

This turmoil has taken the shape of armed clashes between the Baluch and security forces, massive arrests of Baluch protesters, and summary executions of detainees without trial. The Clerical Regime’s unprecedented campaign of oppression and repression against the Baluch and Sunnis is designed to suppress the Baluch quest for self-rule, human rights, and democracy as well as to prevent the spread of Baluchistan unrest to other non-Persian ethnic groups in Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Turkman Sahra,  Al-Ahwazi Arab(Khuzestan), and Luristan. read more… »

About the four young Baloch heroes that joined the legends

RezaHossein Borr

I have always thought how someone can think and feel when he is ready to sacrifice his life for you, me and the rest of us to live a descent and honourable life.  I am the kind of person who has invested all my life for making the world a better place.  I have given thousands of my books and CDs free to those people who needed them.  I also have trained hundreds of people free of charge or for very low fees just to make a difference; just to make other people empowered enough to make a living that they dream about.  Yet my dedication is not in any way close to those that I knew were prepared to give their lives so that I can have a better life, so that you can have an honourable life.  I never understood their psychology and feelings and thoughts. read more… »

What the Islamic Republic has made of Iran?

There is a butcher in every philosopher and there is a philosopher in every butcher in Iran.  So far we have seen less philosophers and more butchers. In every Iranian lives a butcher and the Islamic Republic has made it possible for the butchers to come out more vigorously and rigorously. read more… »

The Revolutionary Guards (Sepah-e Pasdaran)’ Role in Iranian Politics

More dangerously, the supreme leader’s sole reliance on the Revolutionary Guards-should the IRGC manage to preserve its cohesion as a social group in Iranian politics-make Khamenei a prisoner of his own Praetorian Guard, paving the way for a military dictatorship. read more… »
